I love pictures of life in other parts of the world like this one. I will never travel to all the places I would love to. There is something of beauty on every square meter of the globe and it’s far too much to see in a lifetime. At least through sites like Pbase, I get to see pictures from around the world and get a taste of the life and the vitality of places like this Turkish spice market that I will likely never visit.

I agree! The saddest thing about life in this world as that I will never see all of it. Each time I choose a place to travel to, I eliminate the possibility of ever travelling to twenty other places.
Sadness. It makes me wonder what I am doing wasting time in a job– no matter how good, fulfilling, meaningful, etc.– in a city where I have lived for too long now and don’t really want to be. I wish I could go do the same job in Croatia or India or Japan or Brazil.
