Hope from Brazil

Tonight was a great time to meet with fellow bloggers at Cafe Brazil in Deep Ellum. Cafe Brazil is always a great place to hang out. They have some pretty good food and even better coffee. Tonight’s was Decadent Dark Chocolate that smelled great and oddly enough reminded me of the bittersweet of buckwheat pancakes. (Yes, I’m strange too.) I’ll remember a few things from tonight:

  • How Anne and Chris, the youngest couple there brought joy and hope to the table for all us to share in.
  • How challenging it can be to live life together as followers of Christ, and thanks to Allen especially, how great life can be when we humility guides our interactions.
  • The great value of people that each of these great people brought to our table. Throughout our time, it was clear that this group of people was serious about loving and caring for other people. Courtesy is common. A true passion for people that we shared in is much rarer.

And of course, don’t forget to check out these other great blogs not mentioned above: Fire Breather, Greg, Stephen, Steve, Debbie and Kris.
